Mapping the digital value chain of a carbon credit
Prime contractor to a UK-university study defining the end-to-end digital MRV architecture for electric cooking.
WRITE-UP IN PROGRESSWe are still writing this one up. The figures and the links below are current.
Commissioned by Loughborough University for the MECS programme and co-sponsored by the IEC, this study traces how a digitized electric-cooking credit is created and travels the full lifecycle, from generation and verification through issuance, transfer and retirement, across standards, registries and Article 6 infrastructure. CarbonMarketsHQ is prime contractor and technical lead on three of the four workstreams, and the output is a reference architecture for how these systems talk to each other.
