The first fully digital carbon credits ever issued

On 25 March 2026, Gold Standard certified the first fully digital carbon credits ever recorded under any standard: 1,667 tCO₂e verified from ATEC’s eCook programme in Bangladesh, metered across 3,254 devices at 100% coverage, audited by Earthood, and published as a digital twin on Hedera Guardian, with 1,250 tCO₂e issued to date under the Interim Issuance Track.
